For more than 15 years, Women of Promise has been the signature fund raising event to support the quality and affordable career development services available at New Directions Career Center. For over 30 years, NDCC has touched over 60,000 lives, encouraging individuals to transform themselves, taking the skills learned to knock down barriers to employment, face challenges to job retention and open doors to career advancement to become leaders in their community. Each April, the NDCC Board of Trustees, staff and supporters come together to recognize one outstanding graduate as our Woman of Promise.
Held in April each year, this year's Women of Promise brings together more than 400 guests to enjoy live and silent auctions, cocktails and hors d'oeurves, and live entertainment. The 2012 Presenting Sponsor is White Castle System, Inc. and Grange Insurance is our host to an evening of fun, friends and philanthropy. Of course, the highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the 2012 Woman of Promise recipient.
