woman New Directions Career Center understands that effective money management is just as important to self-sufficiency as a meaningful, stable career. That is why NDCC offers the Financial Literacy Series. Generously sponsored by Alliance Data, with additional support from Huntington Bank and USBank, this programming is relevant to people at any stage in their careers. The information is designed to assist participants as they move through the job searching process, enter employment, and become financially independent and responsible.

Monthly Financial Literacy Workshops

Workshops address financial literacy topics such as understanding credit reports, creating a personal budget, retirement planning, and much more! Held on the last Wednesday of each month, these workshops are a great way to develop and hone sound financial strategies towards success.

Money Matters: A Financial Literacy Boot Camp

This hands-on, intensive seminar is for job seekers and professionals who desire to protect their assets and create a solid financial foundation. Taught by experts from the Financial Planning Association (FPA), each participant will examine where he or she is after the economic downturn and create a personal, individualized plan for financial success.

May 24th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Boot Camps are held at NDCC and are open to the public. There will be a one-hour lunch, on your own, during the boot camp.
