For only the second time in its history, NDCC recognized two outstanding graduates with its Woman of Promise award. Kathy Bickel, Vice President for Alumni Affairs at The Ohio State University, and NDCC Board Member and co-chair for the 2013 event was honored as an early graduate of the Center who has come full circle to now serve as one of the agency's top leaders. Also recognized was Toska Broadway, the 2008 Bostwick Scholarship winner and graduate of Gallaudet University, the world leader in education and career development for deaf and hard of hearing students, located in Washington D.C.
